25 years in Digital Painting & Design
Digital Paint Systems are not a new invention. I began working with them in the early 1980’s while I was a salesperson for a company that designed and manufactured graphics devices for use in the Broadcast Television & Production industries.
These systems were used for a variety of artistic purposes such as creating graphics for Television news, sporting events and stock market reporting. Any video or graphics production studio that needed to create visual images to enhance their message used Digital Paint and Imaging Systems.
By the early 1990’s the tremendous power of Digital Systems became financially feasible for the small business owner. By investing in state-of-the-art Digital Paint and Imaging Systems I founded my own graphic design business which I named Online Design. At the time I was one of the few design firms which were 100% digital.
Now I exclusively create my Fine Art Digital Mixed Media Paintings drawing upon my 25 years of experience in the Digital Paint & Graphics Industry. Though I made my living in Computer Graphics, my original degree was in Fine Arts & I have always maintained a working Fine Art Studio. Over 30 years of painting have allowed me the opportunity to create and become proficient using various mediums. I paint in Oils, Watercolors, Acrylics & I also paint Digitally.
