I posted my latest video on Vimeo. It shows the painting of an Anemone from its beginning in 2018 to its revision in 2024. What isn’t shown is why I took it off the wall and overpainted some of it. What spurred the change in my work was that during Covid I began looking at the imagery from NASA. It made me realize that just as a healthy garden comes from cooperation and community, our galaxy also requires harmony for our continued existence. Recognizing that need for balance in both our macro and microcosms is now a thread throughout all my oil paintings.

I began this daily journal in February, 2026 as I prepared for three exhibitions. My solo exhibition, “Portraits From My Garden” at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie, NY, on view from June 5 – September 12, 2026, and my work that was on view in the June, 2026 group show, “Raising Women’s Voices” in Chelsea, NYC.

My next solo exhibition titled “Centering in the Midst of Chaos” will be at the Ceres Gallery in Chelsea, New York City, November 3 – 28, 2026.
It will feature digital artwork, oil paintings, and a multimedia installation.
