I’ve been taking a workshop on how to use the AI tool Claude as a coworker, rather than just as an entity that helps to edit and correct my writing. I learned so much in the two-day workshop even though I thought it was just eating up my time that would be better used in the studio. What I found instead, is that, connecting Claude to the other apps I use to manage my time and projects can help me to do long range planning. I want to have it help me schedule all the many parts of the projects I’m working on for my November solo exhibition at the Ceres Gallery. Since I’m not only showing my paintings but doing an installation as well, there are many parts that need to be considered. I also have a long timeline to create audio and video files that will be needed for this multimedia exhibition and for my Bloomberg Connects listing. Using Claude in a more sophisticated way will help me stay organized and on time. It’s like working with a virtual assistant. The workshop was offered by Akimbo. I’ve taken many of their programs over the years and I highly recommend them.

I began this daily journal in February, 2026 as I prepared for my solo exhibition, “Portraits From My Garden” at Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie, NY, from June 5 – September 15, 2026, my work for the group show, “Hearing Women’s Voices” at the Ceres Gallery in from June 23. to July 18, 2026, and my upcoming November 2026, solo exhibition titled, “Centering in the Midst of Chaos” in Chelsea, New York City
