I want to cover up the line cords and the small amount of equipment hanging from the table in my installation so I went online shopping again. Years ago, I mean 50 years ago when I was in art school and making assemblages, I would go browsing around hardware stores, to see what they had that I might be able to use to build the projects I was inventing. This was before Home Depot style stores existed, At that time, women did not just the walk around hardware stores, they would go to the men standing behind the counters to explain their problem and the men would go fetch the items for them. Since I just wanted to wander without any specific problem that needed fixing I guess they suspected me as some sort of shoplifter or worse. That was then and this is now. I can sit with my feet up and shop online to gather ideas and make purchases that get delivered to my front door. It sure is a more efficient process for me.

I began this daily journal in February, 2026 as I prepared for solo and group shows in 2026 and 2027.
